Rooms and Suites
What’s not to love? The luxurious Deka Camp units are a perfect mix between the traditional style of an African safari tent and architectural structure.
The eight luxury safari suites are constructed with canvas and rock walls, thatched roofing and wooden viewing decks. The en-suite bathrooms include hot and cold running water, a separate toilet and shower facilities.
Outdoors, a large wooden viewing deck is where one can sit back and relax, read a book or photograph the wildlife that congregates in front of the suites and main lodge.
Cuisine and Wine
The chef and their team in the eco-friendly kitchen at Deka Camp provide guests with top-notch cuisine no matter the time of day.
Breakfasts, brunches, lunches, high tea and, of course, three-course dinners are all on offer, as are picnic lunches out in the wilds of the Hwange should one request a full days game drive.
The thatched bar area in the central guest area is where one can pick from a good selection of beers, cooled drinks, spirits and South African wines.
Facilities
The tented and thatched central guest area offers guests plenty of covered and open-air spaces to relax and take in all the nature and wildlife surrounding the camp.
A small lounge, library, and bar area are located under thatch, while a large wooden game viewing deck area with a fire pit and small plunge pool awaits outdoors.
