CHOBE NATIONAL PARK – DAY TOUR $ 170
Experience the thrill of a game drive on the lookout for elephants and lions that populate the park day trip that will give you a unique safari experience. It is a combination of game drive in Chobe National park and boat cruise on the Chobe River. Chobe National park boasts of 70 000 head of Savanna elephants and a variety of other game species, lions and leopards included.
Please Note: Chobe National Park is in Botswana some 70 kilometers from Victoria Falls. That means an early morning start and passport is a requirement.
You’ll be met by a representative from Botswana at the border and assisted through immigration procedures, followed by transfer to the jetty. 9:15 AM: Boat cruise on the Chobe River (cool box with mineral water and soft drinks on board) 12:30 PM: Lunch at any selected lodge in Kasane 1:30 PM: Game drive in Chobe National Park, with complimentary drinks on board 4:30 PM: Return to border for the transfer back to Victoria Falls 6:30 PM: Approximate arrival time in Victoria Falls.
Visiting Chobe National Park is a must for any traveller to Southern Africa. Chobe offers some of the best game viewing in Africa, with regular daily sightings of the Big Five, as well as other animals such as wild dogs, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, crocodiles, hippos and the rare puku antelope. Chobe National Park is also known for being home to the biggest elephant population in the world.
