The Deteema Springs Camp is located on the edge of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest game reserve and home to some of Africa’s most spectacular scenery, including some of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa.



Each eco-luxury canvas tent has been positioned on elevated decks on the side of a slope, offering guests privacy, comfort and unrivalled sweeping views over permanent water springs and water source.
The camp has been designed so that the safari tents blend into the background, leaving you free to enjoy watching animals roaming around your deck or walking past your bedroom window.

Rooms and Suites
Each of the eight eco-luxury canvas tents is positioned on elevated decks, providing guests with privacy and stunning views. Springs Camp has been designed so that each suite blends into its surroundings for an experience where animals are allowed to shine like stars above all else!
Each tented suite features a private deck where you can view the wildlife that comes to visit the permanent water springs. A queen-sized bed is located in each of these suites and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot/cold showers.

Cuisine and Wine
An eco-friendly kitchen offers excellent cuisine options no matter the time of day for the night. Meals are served either in the tented dining area or, for dinner, out under the stars.
Breakfast, brunch, high tea and dinner are all prepared by the highly skilled team in the kitchen.
Gourmet picnics and romantic dinners for two can also be enjoyed, as well as High Tea and sundowners.
Facilities
The plunge pool at Springs Camp is the perfect place to cool off after a morning game drive or walk.
Spend an hour or so reading books from the library or catch up with friends back home and stay connected with the outside world with the WiFi in the central guest area.
The bar area and the wooden viewing deck is where one can sit back and relax as Hwange’s wildlife and birdlife come down to drink at the permanent water spring located in front of the central guest area.
Activities
The safari activities at Deteema Springs Camp in the Hwange National Park are some of the best in the area. Visitors can enjoy game drives, photography safaris, game viewing from the camp, and game walks (guided).
The Hwange National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffalo and plains game.
Child Friendly
Children over the age of six years are most welcome; we would suggest that children of ten years and older would be better suited due to the camps location and the wildlife that surrounds the camp.
